GlucoRx Allpresan® diabetic foot foam cream formula forms finely meshed “netting” over the skin which not only protects it from harmful external factors, but the skin is able to breathe and its natural functions are retained. This unique patented foam cream formula builds up a two-dimensional lattice structure that protects the skin against harmful external influences without compromising its natural functions.1
The foam cream supplies the skin with moisture and simultaneously allows the skin to “breathe”
without compromising the natural functions of the skin.1
Through their airy-light foamy consistency, the foam creams supply optimum hydration without
overloading the skin with an excessive amount of oil.1
The water content of the foam cream also evaporates more rapidly from the skin surface than conventional creams, and the product converts faster into a lipophilic form, resulting in a higher concentration of urea and better absorption through the skin.1
Even after 30 minutes individual foam bubbles can be seen under the microscope which shows that no occluding cream layer is formed and transepidermal water exchange between the epidermis and external environment is maintained.1

Urea is a natural product of protein metabolism, and a scientifically recognized and well-documented moisturizer. It has very high moisture-binding capacity and therefore makes the skin supple while strengthening its protective barrier. Urea’s relevant mode of action is based on strong osmotic properties that are the result of its low molecular weight and hygroscopic (i.e. moisture-attracting) properties due to its polarity.2,3
Adding Urea means that the GlucoRx Allpresan® diabetic foot creams are particularly effective moisturisers. Urea increases the water content in the horny layer, softens it and makes the skin smooth, stabilises the barrier function, improves the regenerative ability of the epidermal barrier, relieves itching, increases skin exfoliation and prevents thickening of the skin.2,3
Pentavitin® is a patented, highly-potent moisturizer containing naturally occurring carbohydrates. The composition is very similar to that of the natural carbohydrate layer within the stratum corneum (corneal layer) of the skin. It acts as an efficient regulator of the skin ensuring long-lasting water retention in the skin.4
It binds to the free amino groups of lysine in the keratin of the stratum corneum and cannot be washed away. It can only be removed by the natural desquamation of the superficial skin layer. It is very hygroscopic (i.e. attracts water) even in low air humidity.4
